Remote handling technology
TELEMESS GmbH has been developed and designed electronic components for remote-controlled applications in cooperation with the KHG GmbH.
For interventions and operations in nuclear plants, remote-controlled systems are required.
Remote-controlled handling systems have to operate in surroundings with high radiation and contamination, not accessible for man.
These systems will be controlled from a distance, via radio or cable.

Radiation hardened components
The electronics of the remote handling systems are protected against radiation by shielding or equipped with radiation hardened devices.

These systems are controlled via radio from a control cabinet inside of a special car or truck,
as a rule.

The electronic systems are subdivided into components as follows:

These subsystems have been designed for radiation fields measuring up to
100 Gy/h.
